Previous Student Work v.s Andrew Goodwin-Research

Shut up and let me go from 283goswell on Vimeo.

This video agrees with Andrew Goodwins opinions on Torodov's theory. There is no normal-problem-resolution sequence.

The video is amplified in the video the main one being at the end when the lyrics sing "hey" and the pillow is thrown.

The illustrativeness of this video is very good as the scenes in the video are all about having fun and the freedom to do what you want and this represents the lyrics "shut up and let me go" as they are free to do as they please.

There isn't any disjuncture in  this video as all of the scenes relate to the idea of being able to do what you want.

This video has strengths in the technical elements. There are lots of locations used to make the video fun and the mise en scene and shot types are good. They have framed a lot of the video very well.

The only weaknesses that I can see in this video is poor lighting in some shots and there wasn't a wide variation of angles used.
